Who Are We

RUF Christian Fellowship is a movement of students seeking to discover the significance of Jesus Christ for their lives and for the world. We are committed to growing together in the free grace of God, serving one another and our community, reaching out with the earth-shaking, life-altering good news about Jesus, and giving ourselves wholly to the church, God's treasure. Since we do none of these things well, we know our brokenness more deeply each day. But we press on in hope. Would you like to join us in this adventure? It doesn't matter how little you know, or how much you've done. Please make yourself at home here at this site, and then come join us for our events and gatherings.

1. Growth in Grace: Helping Christian students understand the depth and constancy of God’s love for them in Christ, and sharing with them God’s means of grace: the Word, prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship.

2. The Visible Church: Showing students that the church is "God’s ordained institution by which the gospel is proclaimed and Christians become more like Christ," indeed, the context in which all the other values listed here may be realized.

3. Evangelism and Missions: Reaching the campus, a mission field and a dynamic milieu for the exchange of ideas, by delivering forthrightly, relationally, and humbly the life-changing message of the gospel.

4. Fellowship and Service: Preparing students to serve God on campus and in the context of the local church by using their unique gifts to build up Christ’s body.

5. Biblical World and Life View: Teaching students that "Christianity is a way of seeing all of life," and that God’s "revealed truth is the integrating principle for all knowledge," and thereby stimulating their development of an all-encompassing Christian worldview.
